A warm, tropical breeze, incense, roasted coffee, summer rain, a drop of vanilla cream.

Kyuu Kohi is the scent of finding yourself in an unexpected summer typhoon in one of Osaka's art districts. Rain drops hit the pavement as the sweet breeze starts to pick up, and you notice a welcoming coffee shop where you can take refuge. Once you duck inside, the calming aroma of roasted coffee and incense fills your nose. You grab a book, settle into a comfy chair with your latte and a pastry, and wait for the downpour to pass.

It’s less coffee, more fruity

Was hoping for the coffee, incense and rain accords to shine on this, and on first spray I got lovely sweet coffee and incense… But then the tropical fruits took over and come off as sweet plastic, like an old 80s girls doll. Ended up just dominating the scent for me.

Purchased for a friend, so while not typically the types of notes I go for myself, this perfume is very light and airy.

It's definitely fruity

This smells like the old zebra stripe gum on me, but not in a bad way. I think whatever notes make up the "tropical breeze" (maybe pineapple & mango?) plus the vanilla cream plus the incense just meld together with my skin and smells exactly like the temporary tattoos on the wrapper. It's bizarre but honestly I'm in to it 😁

A delight

This scent is so gentle yet inviting. I was drawn in by two of the scent notes, the coffee and the rain, and this reminds me exactly of those! I was a little worried about the tropical fruits since I'm not big on coconut or pineapple, but it's a subtle sweetness. I'm really glad I could detect the rain since I am a sucker for rain-based scents.

Fruity incense

The tropical breeze must mean tropical fruits! This is all fruity incense, I can't smell coffee.
