Collection: Japan Collection
Japan first sparked my true appreciation for atmospheric fragrances. I had always been a lifelong lover of perfume, but my experiences with fragrance had been somewhat linear. However, what could be found in small boutiques and incense shops in the Kansai region forever redefined my understanding of scent. These subtle yet beautiful wax and oil-based fragrances artfully evoked realistic representations of particular scents (from pastries to typhoons) instead of bringing to mind perfume itself.
In this style, we have recreated six specific scent memories from my year spent in Japan. From the saltwater canals of Namba to the plum blossom alleyways of Gion, we hope you enjoy.
