This perfume is soft and gentle, for me the scent stays close to the skin. On my skin, this perfume is so interesting, it has 3 unique stages which I've never experienced clear distinct stages in wearing a scent like I have with this one. 1st stage: rose and ume blossom, 2nd stage: rose makeup powder, 3rd stage: creamy honey. If you want a scent that is very soft, light, and you like all the notes, you will enjoy this one. Again, perfume smells different on everyone, this is what I experienced with my body chemistry.

I wanted a delicate powdery scent and this wasn't powdery at all for me. It's a sweet flower, I want to say rose mainly because I don't know what a plum blossom smells like, but too simple to entice me since it's not what I was looking for. Kind of like a cheap rose scented oil I'd buy on ebay for my oil lamp. But! To each their own.

My goodness Gion is beautiful! I just keep coming back to it. The plum blossom reads more as a fruit than a flower to me, and mixed with the soft powder and white tea, it's so fresh and fluffy. This was my biggest surprise love of the order. So glad I took a chance on it! Silk sheets, clean skin, comfy pajamas, hair wrapped up in a towel, LUXURY!!!

This scent is so flowery, powdery, and beautiful on me. As the hours go by, it stays sweet, yet never overpowering, and fades away to warm honey on my skin. It makes me want to buy a robe made from pure silk under which I wear nothing but this perfume.
