Hot sands, holy frankincense, sanctified myrrh, sun-bleached parchment, vanilla, black amber, coconut husk, a king's golden crown

This is a warm, regal scent conjuring an endless sea of sand with the hint of an oasis of coconut and dark vanilla carried on a warm desert wind. Golden frankincense, black amber, and myrrh stir under the endless dunes of hot sand, grounding the bright, golden notes that shine under the unrelenting sun.

With possible origins as a Babylonian goddess, King Paimon is the ninth demon told of in the Ars Goetia. He often appears as a young man, crowned with a stately gold crown and sitting atop a camel.

Paimon is a regal deity who is generous and patient with new practitioners. He bestows creativity, musical talent, and helps one find their true calling. Knowledge of lost recipes of alchemy, forgotten occult knowledge, knowledge of past and future events can be acquired through working with Paimon. He is best invoked in daylight with frankincense, dark alcohol, and offerings of pure gold.

The smell can be a little too sweet but overall great. Lasts longer on the skin than most I have tried here.

Always on point

To be fair, I've enjoyed most of Fantome's fragrances, however Paimon is hands down one of my top scents by any company. The creativity used to match the scent components with the Goetia that was used as inspiration is amazing, and was what initially drew me to the fragrance line. But underneath that is a real artistry of perfume creation. Paimon really captures that warm, sandy smell of amber and frankincense with slight undertones of coconut. I describe it to people as having the smell of gold and honey. It's lush and spicy without having a sweet heaviness. It leaves just the right amount of scent to make you want to continue smelling it and wanting more. Even though I'm a man and find it to have a slight masculinity to it's overall smell, I also think it could easily work as a unisex smell for women who prefer perfumes that are darker and rich instead of the usual floral or sweet varieties. I can't decide if it's better as an evening scent for winter, or a day scent for hot summer days since it would work perfectly for both. It's such a versatile scent. I use both the oil and cologne and find that they both last long even though I'm partial to oils. Fantome really hit the nail on the head with this one.

I bought this on the rec of the site quiz. I really like it! It’s not something I would have picked for myself but it’s lovely. Kind of floral incense?

my absolute favorite

i have a hard time finding perfumes i like due to my autism. about 85% of perfumes just smell Bad with no real explanation other than my brain is just weird. but this one? this one is perfect. it’s soft and warm without being so subtle it’s unnoticeable. it’s sweet but not cloying. this is my absolute favorite scent after i spent the last 6 months looking for fragrances i could wear without getting a headache.

Warm, rich, golden

Paimon has a type of frankincense that I don't come across often - one that has those more lemony overtones, and the dark vanilla, and touch of coconut are a beautiful addition. The myrrh adds a touch of sweetness and the black amber grounds it so well. Paimon comes across as warm, smooth, rich and golden. It does bring to mind an idealistic version of sun warmed golden sand, without being dry or dusty. I absolutely love this.
