Black amber, crushed violets, black currants, dark espresso, labdanum, black agarwood, tobacco.

Sweet, fresh violets mingle with strong black coffee and stay dominate throughout the wear of this peculiarly comforting scent. It was crafted to conjure the nighttime with notes that impart  the feeling of a deep indigo sky. The black currants add a sweet juiciness to the scent and blend seamlessly with the agarwood, black amber, and tobacco.

Solovey the Robber, or Nightingale the Robber, is one of the oldest tales in Russian folklore, being part of the ancient Ruthenian epics. He was half-man, half-bird and lurked in the treetops, waiting to ambush travelers at night in order to steal their valuables and horses. He also possessed a superhuman whistle that would emit a destructive violet light that could destroy forests and kill anything within earshot. After being captured and presented to the Prince, Solovey convinced him to undo his chains and give him a drink of water so that he could demonstrate the supernatural power of his whistle. Foolishly, the Prince agreed, and then Solovey's whistle leveled the entire city of Kyiv.

Solovey is one of my favorite fragrances besides Olympus from this particular perfume company. They may be a little pricey, and it may take time for shipping. I’ve been ordering them for 4 months now it’s totally worth it.

Coffee with slight floral

This scent was not one I liked very much the first time I tried it, but I’ve just tried it again and I can’t get enough of the floral coffee combo. I still don’t think I’ll get a full bottle but I’ll definitely be wearing the rest of the sample size I bought. The scent is actually really pretty and comforting for some reason.

Magic is in the dry-down

So I did not like Solovey when I first sprayed it. It has a very strong synthetic espresso note at first that didnt play well with my nose, HOWEVER the dry down is a gorgeous powdery violet scent. Im not typically into the powdery fragrances but this is truly so lovely, and a true violet smell. Its like somebody used a mortar and pestle to grind up fresh violets and the scent is just gently wafting up to you and the sun is coming through window. Worth a try if you love a gentle violet dry down and a slight warm espresso note that lingers, this is a nice bed time scent for sure.

The only coffee I'll indulge at nighttime

I got this scent as a little sample in another pack I ordered, and immediately fell in love. It's not like any other perfume I've owned, which has often been either musky or floral. This is just so beautiful and subtle and, as the product description states, reminds me of dusk or night. It's easily become one of my favourite evening scents.
