A soft, classic fougère with creamy white tea, airy vanilla, violets, and honeysuckle over a bed of moss and ivy.

One White Crow will take you by surprise, green and sweet, the overall fragrance envelops you in a harmonious blend of green, floral, and gourmand notes. The base is that of a classic fougère; oakmoss, vanilla, and the lightest addition of lavender to impart a soft herbaceous quality that melds and lifts the green notes. Instead of lavender at the forefront, light, sweet violets and honeysuckle are the stars of the fragrance.

William James dedicated his life to exposing the charlatans that arose from the Spiritualism movement. A man of science, he never met a specter that could not be uncloaked or a clairvoyant that could not be debunked. He cast a light of reason into the shady business of smoke and mirrors, and was confident that the many mediums who claimed supernatural powers possessed none, until he met Leonora Piper. When James and his cohorts from the American Society for Psychical Research conducted a rigorous and intense investigation of Piper, he became a believer after she told him things that only his son, who had passed away, could have known.

James expressed his belief in Piper by saying, "If you wish to upset the law that all crows are black, it is enough if you prove that one crow is white. My white crow is Mrs. Piper."

Your great aunt

The description sound like the scent is creamy and sweet, I mostly got an intense, nauseating floral one (didn’t smell vanilla at all).
Maybe like a cheap cleaning chemical scent.
All in all, do not recommend.

Cleaning

I was really excited about this scent but for some reason, it reminds me of cleaning chemicals. Almost lemony.

My White Crow!

I will start by saying I LOVE green scents. The entire reason I got into perfume is because I wanted to be able to experience the scents of the outdoors. Winters here are long and brutal, and being able to smell trees, mosses, flowers with greenery, and the like helps chase away the seasonal blues! This all being said, every green scent I've tried goes to weird vanilla + spice or powdery candy on my skin. Until this one, hence this being my very own white crow!

I would describe One White Crow as a juicy moss surrounded by sweet flowers. When I say juicy moss, the first thing that came to mind when I smelled this was an image of someone picking up a handful of moss, and squeezing out all of the water. Even so, it still has a gorgeous creamy sweetness from the other notes! This scent is another one that's really well blended -- I can pick out the individual notes if I think about it, but I don't necessarily want to do that, because they're a family and they belong together. I feel like this scent is the last days of winter; suddenly, it's sad to think of the snow melting, but we can appreciate the last few days of it, and we can look forward to the flowers, ready to emerge.

For fans of Lolita Lempicka

At first sniff got a ton of realistic moss that I have never smelled again in subsequent wears. This is a soft floral with lots of violet, very similar to the dry down of Lolita Lempicka.
